to be honest: i'm not really sure if details about my identity matter here. don't u agree?
i think this blog (and there are many others i also enjoy visiting) has a real identity. i mean that this is not just a random collection of well-taken pictures. the blog has a real artistic consistency, and this is why i like it.
it seems to me that issues of memory, space, time are questioned and quite interestingly put forward with the photographic work displayed here. these are themes i am also interested with, which may also explain why i like this blog.
i was wondering to what extent the work here bears some resemblance to/or is influenced by that of photographers during the interwar period (e.g. manuel alvarez bravo, ilse bing or rodenchenko)?
